Besonders stolz ist Kroatien auf sein erstklassiges Olivenöl und die auserlesenen autochthonen Weinsorten. Der schon erwähnte Gemeinschaftssinn kommt ebenso im Sport zum Ausdruck. Kroatien als eines der sportlichsten Länder Europas.
